All You Need to Know About the New Valorant Agent: Harbor

All You Need to Know About the New Valorant Agent Harbor

Valorant has been releasing agents at a super-fast pace, and Episode 5 Act 3 is no different, with a new agent named “Harbor” entering the game.

His introduction will undoubtedly change the meta, providing players with additional opportunities when playing the controller role.

Viper, regarded as the most outstanding controller agent, will now have competition from Harbor, who will be a worthy opponent.

Harbor contributes to the game with his good looks and water-based skills, using a variety of abilities to serve as a damage dealer and support for his team.

He is a reasonably distinctive hero in Riot’s shooter. As a result, his entry will undoubtedly alter the meta and the current agent tier lists. As of now, his win rate in competitive is high, and the words from pros and valorant boosters is positive.

Harbor’s Skills

High Tide (E)

The first ability of Harbor, controlled using the “E” key, is the High Tide. Harbor can command a wall of water, shielding him from enemy sight as he advances with his team. It is a beneficial skill for accessing locations as an attacker because it also slows any players impacted by the wall. Players should employ this skill in those situations or when trying to neutralize a spike and needing a cover.

It can build a wall in front of the player by hitting the fire button while the ability is equipped, or it can bend a barrier by holding the fire button down and dragging the cursor in the desired direction. The player can avoid hitting the wall by utilizing alt-fire. When defending the spike, it’s great to wrap a curving wall around several site entrances.

Cove (Q)

Like High Tide, this power generates water that can block the opponent’s view for the player and their friends. Conversely, a cove is not a wall but an orb of water. This should be employed when one entry needs to be hidden from the enemy’s view.

Another beneficial feature of Cove is that it prevents bullets while the orb is up. Players can use this to escape dangerous situations where they are imprisoned in small spaces or to move through wide-open spaces where there is little to no shelter. Under cover of Cove, enemies won’t be able to see or shoot players.

Cascade (C)

Using Harbor’s C ability, players can send a wave of water through walls to hit and slow down adversaries. Players should move fast while utilizing the ability because it doesn’t offer many covers despite being a loud way to enter a site and a great way to get out of awkward situations.

Refiring the ability will catch the enemy off guard and allow players to hit them abruptly if they and their teammates are ready, stopping the wave early. Cascade’s wave will cease and offer some cover if it is stopped. It is pretty challenging to be prepared to successfully defend a site against an attack from a player utilizing Harbor because Cascade can halt foes.

Reckoning – Ultimate (X)

The last and most damaging of Harbor’s skills is a reckoning. Reckoning, his ult-X power, must be charged by accumulating ult points throughout rounds. When activated, it surrounds a space in water and releases “geysers” that periodically concuss adversaries positioned anyplace in the water.

This makes it very challenging for adversaries to be ready to hold a site against an approaching harbor. Harbor can almost completely clear an area by himself thanks to his ult because adversaries will find it tough to defeat him in combat while they are repeatedly stunned by Reckoning. When accessing a location to defuse a bomb or preventing an opposition team from entering the area to defuse, this ult ability should be deployed.

Best Maps to Play Harbor

The fact that Pearl is likely his ultimate finest map suggests that it is not surprising, considering the likelihood that he was created concurrently with the new map.

Pearl is a map that seems to be built just for Harbor. There are a ton of ways to customize Harbor’s wall. On the other hand – Icebox and any map that works for Viper usually works for Harbor.

Harbor can be utilized in a variety of ways. His playstyle is incredibly adaptable and may always be combined with other agents’ abilities to increase potency.
