Facebook Messenger has stopped working, leaving millions of users worldwide unreachable via chat. This includes Facebook’s messaging via browser and the Messenger App. Currently, the reason for the downtime is not known.

Update:- Thousands of Facebook users have storms over to Twitter, tweeting in the panic regarding the Facebook chat going offline. According to some users on Facebook, they claim it to be a DDOS attack on Facebook’s chat servers.
Although, Facebook hasn’t made any official statements yet regarding why Facebook messenger has gone down.
Update:- Facebook messenger is back online and working perfectly. However, the reason regarding the downtime remains unknown.
