Helions Bumpstead Parish is a small town in Essex, and apparently their online security is a little lax. The hacker HUNT3RXM took over the Helions Bumpstead Parish Council official website in the UK. This isn’t the first time that this site was hacked— the site was hacked by the Sons of Anarchy in December two years ago according to zone-h archive records. HUNT3RXM defaced the site completely, however, and left a very simple message on the page that said:

HUNT3RXM has been busy, hacking a lot of important websites. In the last week, this hacker notified the zone-h archives 99 times; with 39 single ip hacks and 60 mass defacements— and the hack on the Parish Council in UK isn’t even listed. His other hacks were a little more imaginative:

Most of HUNT3RXM’s hacks are on Linux and Windows 2012; and the more imaginative attacks are on Linux. Last month, HUNT3RXM hacked over 20 domains within the Immigration Bureau of Thailand. While last time HUNT3RXM claimed that his hacker accomplice TUNIX_WOLF; these hacks aren’t interconnected. We haven’t established any political or emotional connection at all, just an attempt to show their art and have a good time doing it.
