Jointer is a new decentralized finance (DeFi) syndication model on the Binance Smart Chain. Utilizing a daily Auction, Jointer removes Commercial Real Estate barriers while providing investors uncorrelated returns and instant diversification with daily discounts that can top 50% and unlimited liquidity.
Jointer Auction is the primary channel to purchase JNTR assets, offering investors a group discount and individual bonus based on the group’s investment level and the investor’s position in the group. Each day the minting is determined by a decentralized finance smart contract that calculates the previous day’s auction result to determine that day’s minted supply of JNTR. Each auction day, investors can invest up to the daily limit while benefiting from the purchasing power of the whole group. The maximum auction amount is capped at 150% of the previous day’s total investment amount.
How is the daily Auction goal established?
Jointer’s Auction is arranged daily. It goes live at 12:00 pm GMT and ends at 11:00 am GMT. Each investor is rewarded with an initial 100 JNTR to participate in the Jointer Auction. At the end of each day, the participants can gauge the face value of 100 JNTR.
The goal of each Auction day is based on the total amount of funds raised the day before. The amount raised on the previous day will become the goal for the next day’s auction. The first 27 days of the Auction were hosted through a private Auction for whitelisted community members.
Similarly, while determining the daily supply, Jointer will take yesterday’s total contributions and divide that by JNTR’s face value price at the end of the day to decide the auction’s daily supply.
What are Jointer’s daily Auction incentives?
Jointer has a dual bonus structure which provides both large and small investors an opportunity to benefit from daily success as a group as well as an individual. After the 27 day private sale, an investor was able to invest $100 on Day 1 and had $3,000 after the 27th Auction day!
1. Group Incentives
Jointer offers a 50% discount on JNTR for all investors on each Auction day. This discount is triggered by Jointer’s smart contract once investors have successfully surpassed the previous day’s total investment.
2. Individual Incentives
On top of the group incentives, the investors have the opportunity to benefit further from Individual incentives. These incentives are driven by the investor’s rank among other investors. The top investor for each day receives a 50% bonus, 40% for second, 30% for third, and the fourth and fifth rank holders get 20% and 10% respectively.
Therefore, the more an individual invests in the auction as compared to other group members, the higher individual bonuses are awarded. In case of a tie-break; i.e. two investors invest the same amount on the same Auction day, the rank will go to the investor whose investment was processed first.
Where are these funds used for?
The funds gathered through auctions are used to keep the robust ecosystem of Jointer functioning.
The funds’ distribution is as follows.
- 90% of funds are reserved for Commercial Real Estate Property Investments,
- The remaining 10% is transferred directly to the Liquidity Reserves, powered by a Main Reserve, Side Reserve, and Turnover reserve.
Contrary to common practice, Jointer doesn’t execute distributions to founders and shareholders. Rather, it reinvests 100% of the profits from real estate investments into new real estate projects. This demonstrates Jointer’s long term vision and commitment.
