A warm cup of coffee, a comfy sofa, a cozy blanket with a remote control in your hands to play a movie besides a snow-clustered window is what comes to our minds when we think of the best part about winters. We can’t deny the beauty of this season without mentioning the cherishing moments one spends after a long hectic day in a warm blanket while watching a movie. A good movie surely plays a great role in making memorable moments for us which is why we need to make a playlist of good movies that we can enjoy in this season.
Speaking of movies and TV shows, let’s mention a few of them which we believe any watcher would enjoy given how remarkably they are made. We all know that some movies and TV shows are just really good that need no specificity of taste and interest; for example, Game of Thrones or classic movies like The Godfather. We haven’t provided in the list below the name of classical movies, in fact, we are about to share a list of shows that will be released in December so that you can truly enjoy watching TV shows in routine – which is the right way of doing it. I mean, who doesn’t like watching an episode a night before one comes to the office to discuss with the colleagues? We have gathered a list of TV shows and movies for every kind of watcher – those who like suspense and horror; those who enjoy chick-flick, and those that take interest in watching reality shows like America’s Got Talent of sorts.
- The Innocent Man
Who doesn’t use Netflix now since this platform contains all the best TV shows, movies and documentaries in good quality? All one needs to have is a good internet connection and a Netflix account. you can look around and ask your friends if they already have Netflix accounts and if you could share with them or else you can get yourself an account which is not that expensive. For the internet one has to opt for a reliable and known internet provider. Due to the fewer number of ISPs in the USA, people don’t have more than one option for ISP which means they have to bear with the speeds they offer. Altough the internet in my area doesn’t offer gigabit speeds but offers decent bandwidth to stream and game all night without any delay. And for the other step, Anyway, if you are looking for something that is a mix of suspense and crime, we have got you covered! The Innocent Man, releasing on December 14, is one of the best crime-thrill you will watch all winters. It is about four men convicted of two different murders back in the 1980s, now back in the court for justice.
- Tidelands
Another great show to look forward to this December is Tiredlands which is about mermaids. It is much more than what it sounds. It is all about aquatic imagination taking place on the mysterious Orphelin Bay. This Australian drama is about a regime of sirens that are heading to take over the territories of Orphelin Bay. It is not all pink and flowers. It will get deadly, extremely haunting and erotic.
- Ellen DeGeneres: Relatable
Who isn’t a fan of Ellen – a person full of life, warmth, and intellect? Her show gained so much popularity for the honesty of her communication and authenticity of the performance. Above all that, after Oprah, she might be one of the most lively hosts of any shows on TV. Ellen’s comedy is what brings a smile to everyone’s face and her heartfelt interviews with ordinary people or celebrities just make the show even more interesting. What is better than expecting her very own stand-up show this December 18, only on Netflix?
- Overthinking with Kat and June
So when we said we have something for the chick-flick lovers, we weren’t just saying it for the sake of it. We have pulled out one of the best shows to come out this December 19 for those interested in watching something light and friendly to take off mental stress after a long day of work. This is a comedy that addresses the simple concerns of women and shows how they deal with it. Tenea Intriago and Alexia Dox are the two main characters you will see masterfully enacting the characters.
- 7 Days Out
If you want to see something absolutely unique this winter, here is a show that will suffice your needs. This documentary series is about the 7 days that lead up to some major events in tech, sports, food, fashion or Karl Lagerfeld’s prep for Chanel’s spring 2018 couture show. For those of you really into reality shows, this might be the best option to get your spirits hyped.
- The Masked Singer
Speaking of reality shows, who does not enjoy dancing or singing competitions? Put performing arts under competition and everyone will watch it. To make this form even more exciting, the whole idea of The Masked Singer is to make the contestants wear masks or characters to perform before the judges.
- Good Trouble
This show is about two girls, enacted by Maia Mitchell and Cierra Ramirez, who come to live in Los Angeles only to find crappy apartments. During their stay, they face boy problems, get into other troubles and totally grow out of them. If you want to see these girls making up for their poorly made decisions, then this show coming out on January 8 is a must.
- Roswell, New Mexico
Jeanine Mason, a woman who returning to her hometown Roswell, New Mexico to take care of her father, falling sick of disease, comes in terms with her old crush who is now an officer in town and experiences a different life she had not imagined for herself.
