Sam Whitehouse- CEO
Sam has been with the bank for over a decade, he started of as an intern in the investment banking division, but quickly grew up the ranks to become the VP for corporate and crypto banking before taking over as CEO last year. Sam was one of the first persons on the crypto team, and led the bank’s pivot towards crypto. Sam himself has a MBA from Wharton School of Business and has experience in the retail sector before this, working in the retail giant P&G before going to Wharton for his MBA.
Jeffery Hawthorne- Chief Investment Officer, Head of Crypto
The second most important person is Jeff, who in his own words is the crypto wizard of the bank. He was the one who came up with the idea to start offering crypto trading accounts. Jeff has been with the bank for over 5 years now, first working in the investment banking division as the head of the bank’s alternative investment unit, however, during his time their he made successful investments in crypto and convinced Sam and the others at the bank to pivot to the crypto and since then the bank has seen immense growth,
Amy Epstein- Head of People Management
The ring leader, the people pleaser the social glue of the bank, Amy has been with the bank three years now. Before which she was working in HR at a leading cryptocurrency exchange firm. She has technical and financial recruitment expertise due to her immense experience. Despite her young age she has risen up the ranks quite quickly.
Troy Whinehouse- CTO
The man behind the tech stack of Digital Life Bank Troy has been working in the industry for the past 15 years and has been with Digital Life Bank for 5 years. He was the one who built the proprietary technology that has made the bank one of the leading banks in the crypto space. Troy also built the cold and hot wallet mechanism that keeps cryptocurrency safe from hacks and other malware, the tech is so sophisticated that big tech companies are in talks to license it.
Britta Barnes Head of Operations
Britta has been working in the Operations department of the bank for 10 years, before digital life bank she was working in Citi Bank for 15 years. She is the most experienced member of the team, and has been one of the biggest reasons for the success of the bank. Britta’s work in creating the bank and setting up the digital operations has been unprecedented and she is sure the MVP of the bank.
