Inchoate Crimes

Inchoate crimes are ones that are initiated and not completed but result in the commission of a crime. The inchoate crimes need more than an individual just planning or wanting to commit any crime. In a few cases, the inchoate crimes are punished to the same degree that underlying crime will be punished, whereas in some cases, punishment will not be much severe.
